Honda is planning a full model change of the “Civic” and released a prototype model of the 2022 model.
New Civic Design
The design is more sophisticated and luxurious than the conventional model, giving it a low and wide stance. Starting with the low overall height and low hip point of the 10th generation model, we applied the spirit of a new “thin and light” design that includes a low hood and front fenders, and a low horizontal belt line.
The front has a new upright grille and distinctive headlights, and other important design elements include a sharp horizontal shoulder and a rear end with a wide track and new taillights. The prototype also wears a new color called solar flare pearls.

The New 2022 Honda Civic interior reveals a minimalist and stylish design, including a 9-inch infotainment system, digital gauge clusters, and honeycomb mesh accents that extend the width of the dashboard to hide the vents.
Introducing several new active and passive safety systems, including an upgraded suite of Honda Sensing safety and driver assistance technology, including a new airbag design.
This prototype model is scheduled to debut in the United States from the end of spring 2021.
