New limited-edition anniversary model: Porsche Boxster 25 Years

Porsche started accepting pre-orders for the 1250 limited special edition Boxster 25 Years from January 13th to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Boxster family’s debut.

Porsche Boxster Powertrain

The Boxster 25 Years inherits many of the design features from the “Boxster Concept Car” unveiled at the 1993 Detroit Motor Show. Boxster will be mass-produced from 1996. Based on the “GTS 4.0” equipped with a 4.0-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 400ps, it inherits many design features from the Boxster concept car.

New Boxster Exterior

The striking feature is the reinterpreted color neodymium. It has a sparkling brown color like copper, and is used as an accent color on the front apron, side air intake with monobar, lettering, and two-tone 20-inch light alloy wheels on special-purpose vehicles. It creates an exciting contrast with the GT Silver Metallic that the concept model wore. In addition to neodymium, Jet Black Metallic and Carrara White Metallic are also available as options.

In addition, the fuel filler cap that stands out with the “Porsche” logo by the exclusive design is also characteristic. The aluminum look shines like the high-gloss tailpipes of the sports exhaust system, and the front window surround is finished in contrasting black.

The special edition car combines a Bordeaux red leather interior with a red fabric convertible top to match the original style. The convertible top is embossed with the “Boxster 25” logo in black. An aluminum interior package, a sports seat with 14-way electric adjustment function, a door entry guard with the “Boxster 25” logo, and a leather-finished heated GT multifunction sports steering wheel are also standard equipment.

New Porsche Boxster Price

The price is 12.26 million yen for the 6-speed manual and 12812,000 yen for the 7-speed PDK.
