The updated daytime running lights, which are now split in two, further enhance the vehicle’s dynamic appearance, while slimmer headlights extend to the radiator grille. For the first time, ŠKODA offers full LED matrix technology as the top headlights for this model. There are two LED modules, one above the other. They provide low and high beam and create a clear group of four light sources, especially when driving in the dark. Even as standard, the model is equipped with LED optics and separate fog lights.

The model is presented with aerodynamic alloy wheels and an elongated rear spoiler, creating new visual emphasis and reducing emissions of CO 2 . In combination with aerodynamic bumper elements and optimized underbody protection, this reduces the vehicle’s aerodynamic drag coefficient by more than 9% – down to 0.30. Thus, therefore, KAROQ is among the leaders in its segment.

The Karoq is now available with new eco-friendly seat upholstery and a special micro-suede door card trim in Mocca Brown. The soft-touch door trim is combined with extended LED lighting, which now illuminates the front and rear door panels in one of ten color options, and the legroom in white.

In addition to this, the ŠKODA Karoq offers increased passenger comfort. Electric seat adjustment, including a memory function, is available as an option for the front passenger seat for the first time. The built-in memory function saves personal settings and restores them at the touch of a button. An electrically adjustable lumbar support is also available as an option, allowing the front seats to be tailored to the preferences of the driver and passenger.

From the Ambition trim level and above, a digital instrument cluster (or, as it is called, the Virtual Cockpit) with a 10.25-inch display is available. It offers five basic design options that can be customized individually.

Karoq provides access to a wide range of ŠKODA Connect mobile online services. The internet services of the infotainment system, for example, provide remote access to the vehicle via the MyŠKODA app. This allows the driver to lock and unlock the vehicle via a smartphone, see its location on a map, or activate lights and sounds to make it easier to find a vehicle in a parking lot. Smartphones can be connected to the vehicle using Wireless SmartLink technology (Android Auto or Apple CarPlay).

The redesigned ŠKODA KAROQ offers a choice of nine exterior colors: two metallic colors Phoenix Orange and Graphite Gray will debut for this model. Aerodynamics are improved with new 17-19 ”rims with Aero plastic trim to reduce turbulence.

In Ukraine, the ŠKODA Karoq is expected in the Active, Ambition and Style trim levels with the already familiar range of engines and gearboxes: 1.4 TSI (110 kW) 8AT; 2.0 TDI (85 kW) 6MT; 2.0 TDI (85 kW) 7DSG and 2.0 TDI (110 kW) 7DSG.

Debuting in 2017, Karoq became the second in the Czech automaker’s crossover lineup. The model is produced in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, China and is available in the markets of 60 countries.
