Although heavily camouflaged, the Palisade XRT still shows noticeable differences in its design compared to other variants. Built for off-roading, this version features anti-scratch plastic trim around the wheel wells. It also comes with smaller wheels paired with thick tires, making it well-suited for rough terrain.

Inside, the dashboard is well-covered, but the seats reveal some details, including the XRT logo on the headrests and intricate patterns on the backs. The seat configuration appears to accommodate 7 passengers.

Although Hyundai has not yet disclosed detailed specifications for the Palisade XRT’s performance, the modifications suggest a strong emphasis on off-road capability. The inclusion of all-terrain tires and protective cladding points to a suspension system designed for rougher terrains. Additionally, the larger air intake could indicate enhancements in engine cooling, potentially boosting performance in demanding driving conditions.

The new generation may feature a hybrid setup, combining a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine for the gasoline powertrain with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, replacing the current 3.8-liter V6. Buyers will likely have the option to choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive expected to be standard on the XRT model.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade XRT is quickly becoming a highly anticipated release. As testing progresses, more information about its powertrain, off-road performance, and additional features is expected to be revealed.
