Audi has introduced the third-generation Q5 crossover, which is constructed on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) framework. The new 2025 audi q5 model features advanced hybrid powertrains that integrate internal combustion engines for enhanced efficiency.

The 2025 Audi Q5 crossover now features a fresh corporate design that aligns with the latest Audi A5 and Q6 e-tron models. The body lines have been streamlined, the radiator grille is wider, and the headlights are sleeker. Notably, the front lights may include matrix technology, while the rear lights utilize organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). Additionally, a unique lamp integrated into the rear spoiler can project images.

2025 Audi Q5 Dimension

The new model is only slightly larger than its predecessor: it measures 4717 mm in length and 1900 mm in width, while the height remains the same at 1662 mm. The wheelbase has been extended from 2819 mm to 2828 mm. The trunk capacity is 520 liters, which increases to 1473 liters when the rear seats are folded down. Depending on the trim level, the curb weight ranges from 1835 kg to 1955 kg.

Inside the car, the centerpiece is the three-screen cockpit, which Audi refers to as the “digital stage.” This setup includes an 11.9-inch instrument panel, a central 14.5-inch touchscreen, and an additional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger. A projection display is also available as an optional extra.

The Audi Q5 offers extended contour lighting with various effects, wireless charging with a 15W power output, and four USB-C ports. The rear seat can be adjusted forward and backward to flexibly modify the space for passengers or luggage. The interior trim features recycled materials, including Kaskade fabric and Dinamica microfiber.

The new models continue to use internal combustion engines, but in the European market, they are paired with mild hybrid systems. These hybrids include a small 1.7 kWh battery and a 24-horsepower electric motor with 230 Nm of torque. All variants come equipped with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.

Powertrain

The third-generation Audi Q5 starts with a 2.0-liter TFSI engine producing 204 hp and 340 Nm of torque. This version comes with front-wheel drive as standard, though an all-wheel drive system is available as an option. In the European market, a 2.0-liter TDI variant with similar power output but 400 Nm of torque will also be offered. For those seeking higher performance, the sporty SQ5 model features a 3.0-liter six-cylinder TFSI engine, delivering 367 hp and 550 Nm of torque.

Price

Prices for the new Audi Q5 start at €52,300 for the base model. The diesel variant is priced from €57,100, while the high-performance Audi SQ5 begins at €82,900.
