2022 Smart #1:-Many people may be familiar with the name Smart as a small car under the Mercedes – Benz group. Recently, Smart is preparing to make a big comeback in the market with the launch of the Smart #1 electric car for the first time in the world.

From the pictures, it can be seen that the Smart #1 looks similar to the previously revealed Smart Concept #1. Designed to look like a small SUV with 100% electric power with a five-seater cabin, it will be built at a factory in China in conjunction with the Geely brand.
Smart #1 is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 272 hp (PS), a maximum torque of 343 Nm, sending all power to the rear wheels. And can do a top speed of 180 km / h, while the NCM battery has a capacity of 66 kWh. It can drive approximately 420-440 km per charge (based on WLTP), supports DC quick charging in less than 30 minutes (from 10-80%).
The exterior of the Smart #1 body measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,822 mm in width, 1,636 mm in height and 2,750 mm in wheelbase length, including an empty weight of 1,820 kg. It rests on 19-inch wheels wrapped in 235/45 R19 tires.
Smart #1 is equipped with standard equipment such as a high-resolution 12.8-inch touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and an infotainment system capable of both personal profiles. To customize the navigation system, air conditioning, lighting and sound as well as various settings of the car, along with a 9.2-inch Full HD instrument cluster and a 10-inch Head Up Display.
The Smart #1 also comes with the ADAS package, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Active Lane Keeping, Blind Spot Assist, Highway and Traffic Jam Assist, Auto Parking Assist and Adaptive High Beam Assist to come.
However, Smart hasn’t revealed details of the price and the launch date at this time. But it is likely that it will start to market in China before gradually being sold in Europe again.
