Toyota has published the first and so far the only teaser of the new 2023 Toyota Sequoia frame SUV. The photo does not show the whole car, but its back. Judging by the rear pillar and glass elements, it can be assumed that the new SUV will look similar to another popular model of the manufacturer – Land Cruiser 300 .

The basis for the new Sequoia was a frame platform from the latest generation Tundra pickup truck , which debuted last year. From him, Sequoia will also get engines, namely a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 that produces 389 hp, and an i-Force hybrid system, where an electric motor is a pair of motors. The total output of such a power plant is 437 hp. The gearbox in both cases is the same – a ten-speed automatic. The drive can be rear or full.
The exact date of the presentation of Toyota Sequoia has not yet been announced. It is expected that the car will be presented within the next two months. The current generation of the model has been produced since 2007. Its key market is North America.
