in January of this year, the Ranault concern announced the release of a new crossover under the Dacia brand. The car was named Dacia Bigster and will take the place of the flagship in the manufacturer’s lineup. The car should join the brand’s lineup in 2022.

The car is positioned as a competitor to Land Rover Discovery Sport and Volkswagen Tiguan. But the price tag will be more budgetary. According to the manufacturer, the basic version will cost 22-23 thousand dollars.
It is known that the future flagship of the Romanian brand will be based on the CMF-B platform, on which the current Sandero hatchback is also based. The crossover will receive a stylish modern design and advanced equipment. The length of the model will be 4.6 m.
The Bigster will be powered by a hybrid powertrain based on a 1.6-liter engine. There will also be versions with three and four-cylinder engines with recoil from 90 to 150 hp.
