The revived Ford Bronco SUV family , which debuted in July 2020, has been expanded with a new version. It was named 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades in honor of the tropical swamps in Florida (USA) and is designed for severe off-road.

The SUV stands out among other Bronco modifications. It features a Ford Performance power bumper with a Warn winch and synthetic cable with a 4500kg capacity, a Carbonized Gray grille, square wheel arches with massive overlays and 17-inch Carbonized Gray wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear tires. An expedition roof rack is installed on the roof, and unique graphics are applied to the fenders.
In order for the car to drive through swamps and cross fords up to 925 mm deep, reinforced protection was installed on its bottom. Also changed the location of the transfer case and transmission units. In addition, Bilstein shock absorbers were included in the package. Since the ingress of water and dirt into the cabin on such extreme trips is inevitable, easy-to-clean vinyl was used in its decoration, and floor mats were made of rubber.
The cabin equipment includes a Ford SYNC multimedia system with a 12-inch screen, a digital instrument panel, a multifunction steering wheel and a wide range of driver assistance. The Bronco Everglades is powered by a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine with 300 hp. and 440 Nm of torque. It is combined with a 10-speed “automatic”. Pre-order for the Car will open in March this year. There is no information about the start of production yet. The SUV starts at $53,000.
